While on the racetrack, it is essential for the driver of the car to be aware of important measurements to optimize their performance. Our dashboard team is responsible for developing and implementing an easily readable display and ergonomic interface with the rest of the race car. We use Python to develop the backend and then HTML to design the user interface of a locally hosted server which all runs on a Raspberry Pi. This is contained in a custom laser-cut acrylic panel accessorized with start and stop buttons, a backup camera, and a headphone jack.
