Aerodynamics can make or break a race car’s on-track performance. Our aerodynamics team employs a first-principles understanding of airfoils and compressible fluid flows to our designs to ensure low-drag geometries without compromising downforce or cooling to our radiators. We produce detailed CAD models of our designs, utilizing CFD software and scale-model wind tunnel testing to refine and optimize aerodynamic performance. Finally, we manufacture our bodywork in-house in Princeton’s Composites Lab, from foam-mold cutting to composites layup.
